AMHERST, N.Y. – The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ College men’s basketball team has been ranked No. 17 in the NCAA Division II Sports Information Directors of America (D2SIDA) national media poll for week nine of the 2018-19 season. It marks the third straight week that Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ has been nationally ranked, moving up two spots after being ranked No. 19.  

The D2SIDA national media poll is voted on by sports information professionals from around the country. The Wildcats are also presently ranked No. 2 in the D2SIDA East Region media poll, and are once again receiving votes in the NABC national poll.  

At the beginning of the season, the Wildcats were picked second in the ECC preseason poll, and 22nd in the Division II Bulletin preseason national poll, while also receiving top-25 votes in both the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and D2SIDA preseason national polls.
