President Olson and ˿Ƶ Trustees Named to Power 250 List

In the 10th annual Buffalo Business First Power 250 list, a yearly ranking of the region’s most influential people, President Gary Olson has once again joined the top 100 – ranking number 89 overall – along with many leaders associated with ˿Ƶ.

“It’s an honor to be recognized along with so many representatives of our ˿Ƶ community, including many trustees, alums and members of our Community Advisory Board,” said Olson. “I look forward to our continued work together to advance the institution we share – and make a positive impact in our region and beyond.”

Also named to the list was ˿Ƶ College Board of Trustees chair John Yurtchuk, chairman of Calspan Corporation – as well as trustees Candace Johnson, president and CEO, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center; Arthur Wingerter, president, Univera Healthcare; emeritus trustee Peter Hunt, chairman & CEO, Hunt Real Estate Corp; and Scott Bieler, president and CEO, West Herr Automotive Group.

Several members of the college’s Community Advisory Board were also named to the list: Thomas Quatroche Jr., president and CEO of Erie County Medical Center Corporation; A.J. Baynes, president & CEO, Amherst Chamber of Commerce; Eric Reich, co-chair, Western New York Regional Economic Development Council; Rocco Termini, president, Signature Development Buffalo LLC; and Matthew Enstice, president and CEO of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. 

Buffalo Business First reporters and editors nominate individuals for the list, with rankings based on extensive research and in-house discussions. Overall, the list is composed of local leaders from a range of organizations and industries the selection committee believes will make a difference in 2022.
