Herbert Freudenberger, a psychologist whose work focused on the understanding and treatment of stress, describes burnout as the consequences of severe stress and a condition that leads to severe physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion. According to a study by Deloitte, nearly 91% of US workers reported being unable to cope with stress and 77% stated they’ve experienced burnout at least once in their career.
How do we prevent and manage burnout?
