Congratulations on being accepted to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ. The faculty and administration have been busily preparing for your arrival on campus.

Be sure to check your email regularly. Beginning in April those who have secured a spot for themselves at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ by submitting their tuition deposit will receive information on how to:

  • Complete the Course Registration Questionnaire and be registered for your fall classes.
  • Sign up for the Academic Kick Off (virtual Schedules 101 & Academic Department meetings  -required to receive your fall course schedule)
  • Activate your Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ computer account and have access to your offical Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ email.
  • Upload your Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ I.D. picture
  • Complete their New Student Orientation acknowledgement form (access opens in July).

2024 New Student Orientation for
First-Year & International Students

Orientation Registration will open in July. Students will need to log in with their Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Admissions login and password to make the reservation. Only students who have committed to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ by submitting their tuition deposit will have permission to register for the orientation programs.

We have planned a New Student Orientation program that will be held August 30-September 1. You will have the opportunity to meet with faculty from your academic college, academic support services personnel, student affairs staff, and participate in social activities to assist in you having a successful transition to the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.

At Orientation you will:

  • Meet with the Dean of your your academic college to review academic expectations.
  • Met with your learning community to discuss discuss the learning outcomes required of all new students.
  • Receive your Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ I.D.
  • Understand the best practices as a resident or commuter student at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.
  • Meet with representatives from each of the academic and student services on campus who will provide you with answers to frequently asked questions and provide you with information on how to best use their services and be successful at the University.
  • Meet your orientation leaders, current students who will share their experiences at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and help mentor you in your first year.
  • Meet other new first-year students who will be starting in the Fall.
  • Participate in fun activities that acquaint you with the University, the staff, and students.

Getting your Student ID is an important part of starting your college life at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.  Your Student ID is used for many aspects of campus including the residence halls, library loans, and event attendance. After you complete your Course Registration Questionnaire you will receive information on how to activate your Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ computer account and be able to start the process of creating your official . 

Cost

A one-time first year student fee of $175 will be added to your Fall tuition bill. This fee covers the cost of food, lodging, activities, staffing, and all materials used during First-Year student events including First-Year Orientation, Welcome Back Programs, and First-Year student programming throughout the academic year.
