NSCA - National Strength and Conditioning Association

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s specialization program in health and fitness is recognized by the NSCA as an Education Recognition Program.

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s health promotion, health and fitness specialization equips students with a foundation in the sciences, nutrition, exercise physiology, fitness assessment and exercise prescription, and strength and conditioning. Students combine the principles of health education and behavior change to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles.

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s health promotion, health and fitness specialization equips students with a foundation in the sciences, nutrition, exercise physiology, fitness assessment and exercise prescription, and strength and conditioning. Students combine the principles of health education and behavior change to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles.
 

Also, individualized plans of study prepare students to become a certified strength and conditioning specialist  and a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association/NSCA, as well as obtain additional certifications through the American College of Sports Medicine/ACSM.
